Average Thermal Efficiency
Ratio of the energy added by heat (primary energy) that is converted to net electricity.
Capacity Factor
Ratio between what a generation unit is capable of generating at maximum output versus the unit's actual generation output over a period of time.
Load Factor
Ratio of the average load over a given period to the maximum demand (peak load) occurring in that period.
Peak Load
The maximum electrical power demand.
Transmission & Distribution Losses
Electricity energy loss in the transmission and distribution networks.
